The tour will begin in London on Sunday 2nd July and will include visits to some of the leading UK nurseries in the South East of England.

There will also be garden visits, including the Royal Horticulture Society Gardens at Wisley with the opportunity to see their Award of Garden Merit (AGM) plant trials. Other highlights will include Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and Beaulieu Car Museum, with more events being planned.

The tour will then cross to Ghent in Belgium, an important centre of Horticulture.

There will be the opportunity to see the beautiful historic towns of Ghent and Brugge as well as visiting nurseries and horticulture research in the area.

It will be possible to join us in Belgium from Friday 7th July to attend the short tour.

The tour will then continue into the Netherlands, where horticulture is one of the countries most important industries.

The nursery area of Zundert in the south of the country will be the first stop before continuing on to Aalsmeer to see the Flower Auction, the horticulture museum and cut flower nurseries.

This base will also enable Amsterdam with its canals and museums to be explored. South Holland near the horticultural town of Boskoop will be the base for the conference.

Visits to nurseries and gardens in Boskoop during the conference will be one of the highlights of the tour.

A post conference tour to Northerm Germany from Friday 14th to Monday 17th July will be an option for those who can stay longer and wish to see more of horticulture in Europe.

Please note that the tour is still at an early stage of development.

Please watch the IPPS web site for updates to the programme as our planning develops.
